Axis

The twenty-eighth of January, which was yesterday, was a momentous occasion. Hope Church Singapore moved from the Nexus Auditorium at Cuppage Plaza into the Axis Auditorium at Textile Centre! I had the privilege of leading the first ever band to play on that stage.

It was a pretty okay band really. A really eclectic mix of musicians from Youth, PolyDINS and UniYa, but by God's grace, we managed pretty well. I've really got to thank God for giving me the opportunity to be play on the very first time we held a service there. Okay, I made a few mistakes as usual *sigh*, and I was hungry and tired for the second service, but it was a new experience and as a band, I really think we played above our level!

I really had to lead the band through the bandleader microphone while on stage, which was something I did only once in Nexus, I believe, and in that respect, I was stepping out of my comfort zone. They said I led well. I didn't think so! But I guess God me a few nudges when it was appropriate lol!

We finally have good equipment and a real, specifically designed house of worship to serve in. It mayn't be strictly necessary, but now that we've invested in it, we need to up the ante and really bring the level of worship higher. No more smoking through the service! Though there was a teeny bit yesterday I think. ^^"

Got to go rest now, I was really pooped after serving yesterday, and though I had a real good rest last night, it wasn't enough and the feeling of physical tiredness has carried over to today. Goodnight then, ciao~!
