A Quiet Moose

Woohoo, yours truly has played the last of his four services in a row. Actually if I were just playing, it wouldn't be bad at all, but I'm not into this band leader business. I don't know if I'll still be come next year though! I feel stressed about camp and the upcoming Christmas services for some reason, I think because I've very limited time to prepare.

I had quite a good time of lifegroup after service today. It was filled with sharing and prayer, and an operation (actually a redressing) on an impish thumb. The last part was a little bit hairy, but you're actually pretty tough, good on ya! Went for eats after, and I was a quiet moose then. That's 'cause I was in a mood, you know? When you feel like you've been around people longer and more often than you oughta been, and then it gets on your nerves some being around more of 'em? What with that and a little bit of tiredness from playing for service, yeah, I was rather withdrawn. Glad that I'm going away for a while then!

Where you say? China's the name of the game. Yes, you over there, sitting by the wall in the second row from the back - I heard you gasp! Indeed, the quiet moose is heading to Fujian and Chaozhou on vacation. That's where my ancestors came from, and muchly anglicised though I may be, rooting around is a prudent thing, else I wouldn't go anywhere near there with a ten-foot pole.

I don't know if I can blog everyday like I did in Spain? I think not actually. Worse come to worst, I'll just type my posts into my iPad and post all seven posts in an instant when I get back home! Well, that is, if there's anything worth blogging about in the first place... I don't think I'll be able to get gifts for anyone either since there's (to my knowledge) not much shopping to be had there - the places I'm going to aren't touristy places.

My pickups and preamp, which I'd ordered for my bass back on the third of November haven't arrived yet. I think I'll type an email to Cherns - should let him know I'm going overseas for a week so that he wouldn't wonder about my ignoring him, in the event of him receiving the shipment when I'm actually unable to reply!

Need to pack and do chords for the second slot of Kairos Camp tomorrow, guess I'll be off then. Till my next post, ciao! ^^
